Advantages of Mini 230 Beam Light Over Traditional 230 7R Beam Light

The Mini 230 Beam Light stands out as a game-changer in professional stage lighting, redefining performance, portability, and cost-efficiency compared to traditional 230 7R beam lights.   Designed for modern live events, small-to-medium venues, and touring productions, this compact sharpy beam light delivers powerful brightness, stunning optical effects, and simplified deployment - making it the ultimate upgrade for lighting professionals, rental companies, and venue owners seeking high performance with lower operational costs.

1. Compact & Ultra-Lightweight: Easy Deployment, Reduced Load & Cost

Traditional 230 7R beam lights typically weigh around 18.5kg with a bulky build, demanding reinforced trusses, extra manpower, and time-consuming setup.

In contrast, the JOBET Vari Beam 230S weighs only 10.5kg - just 60% of the traditional model - boasting a slim, compact body.

This lightweight design drastically reduces truss load stress, allowing single-person installation and disassembly for fast rigging.

Perfect for small-to-medium bars, live houses, wedding events, and touring shows, it cuts labor, shipping, and storage costs significantly.

2. Superior Optical Performance: Sharper Beam & Higher Brightness

Optical power is where the Vari Beam 230S truly shines, outperforming traditional 230 7R beam lights in beam focus and brightness:

• Ultra-Narrow 2.1° Beam Angle:

Far narrower than the 3.8° angle of traditional models, delivering a concentrated, piercing beam with exceptional long-distance projection and stunning visual impact.

• Impressive Brightness:

Up to 123,700 lux at 10 meters, nearly double the 70,000 lux of traditional 7R beam lights

Powered by a 230W lamp + integrated LED ring, it ensures vivid, high-output illumination even in large or dimly lit spaces.

3. Rich Creative Effects: Multi-Layer Prism & RGB Ring for Unique Visuals

The Vari Beam 230S elevates creative possibilities with upgraded features absent in traditional models:

Triple-Layer Prism: Supports 8+16+24 multi-layer prism effects, compared to the single 8-facet prism of traditional lights. This enables intricate, dynamic light patterns for immersive stage designs.

• Integrated RGB LED Ring:

A built-in RGB colored ring around the lens adds vibrant ambient lighting and static visual flair, enhancing stage aesthetics even when the main beam is inactive.

• Full Effect Package:

Equipped with a rainbow wheel, frost filter, fixed gobo wheel, and color wheel, plus 16/18/20/22 DMX channels compatible with Sharpy's library for seamless control integration.

4. Energy-Efficient & Cost-Effective: Lower Consumption, Higher ROI

The Vari Beam 230S is engineered for long-term savings without compromising performance:

• Reduced Power Draw:

Consumes only 280–300W, versus ~350W for traditional 7R beam lights, slashing electricity costs for daily and extended use.

• Lower Total Cost:

Competitive pricing for premium features, combined with lightweight design that minimizes shipping, rigging, and maintenance expenses. Its durable build also reduces post-purchase upkeep costs over time.
